Linda Miles '01
Linda was invited to the 2001 Seattle Storm camp as free agent.  She played in one game against Tasha's Portland Fire team, but was cut early in camp.  She was one of the two winners of MTV's WWE Tough Enough 2, and followed with a brief career as a professional wrestler.

Congratulations to Tasha Pointer for receiving her Masters degree in Education from Rutgers,

Tasha was selected at #52 by Portland Fire in the 2001 WNBA draft, but was waived before the regular season began. Tasha has also played for the Houston Jaguars travelling squad, and the Chicago Blaze of the NWBL.

Tasha was selected at #52 by Portland Fire

Tammy Sutton-Brown '01
Tammy was selected at #18 by Charlotte Sting in 2001 WNBA draft.  By mid-season, she was the starting center and helped lead the Sting to the WNBA finals, where they lost to the Los Angeles Sparks.  Tammy spent the 2001-2002 off-season playing for Kookmin Bank Savers of the WKBL (South Korea), where she again helped her team reach the league finals.  This winter (2005-6) she is playing professionally for Dynamo Moscow in Russia.

Former RU goalkeeper Saskia Webber played for the Philadelphia Charge in the 2001 inaugural WUSA season.   She was traded to the New York Power on December 3, 2001.  Saskia is one of the leagues's founding members, and a member of USA women's championship 1999 World Cup and 1996 Olympic teams.
